Where's that Patsy Cline cd, I have?

O well, I'll have to put on "The White Album" by the Beatles in the meantime.

'Yer Blues' anyone?

On to DSOTM-Pink Floyd

Great story about this album is when Griffith Observatory in L.A. started up those laser shows to bring in some needed revenue, this was the first music they used. The heart beat intro must have been looped because it went on for five minutes or so and when the orchestral sequence started they brought up the star filled sky on that note in the planetarium. It was astounding! Hearing hundreds of Angeleno's gasp at the sight of the Milky Way and the rest of the night sky appearing on the inside of that huge dome was cool. We don't get to see much of that stuff here the Southland, too much light pollution and other crap on our air.

ps Guess what speakers they were using? Hint, westcoast sound thundering down from on high, baby!

Yeah, I'm an asshole. Dave is rubbing off on me... You should've seen me show up to a gay potluck Thanksgiving dinner out here, I brought a giant platter of homemade creampuffs, baked by moi. They were all gone by the end of the party. Patty had to save me from some of those bearish lumberjack types.
