You're setting the bar way too high. It is not necessary that they admit it or believe it. All they have to say is 'things have changed.'

but
I think this hurts her cumulatively more than directly. It reinforces the negative image that is out there of her. I think it was MSNBC that suggested this would be the effect. I tend to agree.

Seems like hers was never breached anyway.
