According to some that heard from someone that he was fleeing, or surrendering with his hands up, or helping old ladies cross the street, or buying flowers for his mother, or something.
Me, I think he was probably doing something consistent to the guy in the vid. That's the one thing in this besides his demise one can take on appearances.

In a nod to many, the Fergie cops sure screwed the pooch on this, even if it turns out they were justified. I'd expect heads are going to roll when this is over regardless of fault.
