Yeah. We're in the beginning of an attempted soviet style purge. We'll see how it goes. It's the MO of the left, and one reason so many conservatives are still fighting. The 6th was not the end. it was the end of the beginning. Of that I have little doubt. And this sort of thing is why, 12 years ago, I bought my 32 acres and home in Kentucky and, 9 years ago, moved there from my home of 46 years, Seattle. This stuff simply won't affect me as much as it will many americans if the leftists actually do implement some of their ideas.

So I'm sort of more of a spectator in all this. I have skin in the game only in that I've paid off all my debt, reduced my cost of living, and acquired a fairly large arsenal (though not very big for around here) and the thousands of rounds needed to become competent (again, not a large amount for around here). But I expect my kids to inherit them (just as I inherited most of them) and I may use them to acquire some live game if things get too bad.

This thing will blow over eventually. Unfortunately, the last event like this happened over 100 years ago and didn't fully blow over until the Berlin wall came down. And a lot of people died and suffered in the meantime, and the nation has still not come to full first world status.

But for now, there is the purge. Twitter, Facebook, et al. Here is a funny one:

This isn't over by a long shot, no matter who is sworn in on the 20th. We live in interesting times. And the Lord has this.

Yeah. Opinions vary. Trump incited no riot. He did support their protest. And except for a VERY FEW bad actors -who really didn't act all that badly - it was completely peaceful, silly MSM headlines and opinion pieces notwithstanding. There is even video of one guy trying to break a window and the "rioters" pulled him down and away from the window. These conservatives just have not learned how to put on a good riot yet.

When you steal an election, there may be some real world challenges. And if Biden is sworn in, that doesn't end it. That begins it. You can steal an election if it's close. But when it's not, there is hell to pay.
