This is a very dangerous fact: the white male uneducated Trump voter believes anything that comes out of the Führer's mouth.

And when confronted with the truth, they take that to be the lie. Trump doesn't lie. Everybody else does.

Typical mob mentality - it descends to the lowest common denominator precipitously.

We've been heading in that direction for what...3 decades now? Pandering to the lowest common denominator...both in education and politics.

Where is the prominent intellectual elite, like Woody Allen or Joan Baez raising their voice against Trump? Where are the demonstrations against Trump? America seems to be paralyzed or has become feeble-minded on any level of its society.

Many are paralyzed due to the demonization of Clinton.

The intellectual elite are profoundly mistrusted by the American right. This dates back to the communist hysteria of the Cold War when many of our leading intellectuals, who were active on the left here, were demonized, persecuted and personally destroyed by their own government.

I don't think Woody Allen has ever been politically active and, outside of performing, Joan Baez has more or less retired from public life. We do have Noam Chomsky and Michael Moore and they are listened to, but only by the left.

Didn't she invite this or do you feel that she is being treated unfairly?
57% of the country is opposed to her nomination.

Noam Chomsky and Michael Moore - who else? I can't believe that there is no turmoil, no rebellion, no concerted action against the probable political fiasco amongst the common sense Americans.

This is what's currently frustrating me most when I think of the United States.
