Section 3. No person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress, or elector of President and Vice President, or hold any office, civil or military, under the United States, or under any State, who, having previously taken an oath, as a member of Congress, or as an officer of the United States, or as a member of any State legislature, or as an executive or judicial officer of any State, to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof. But Congress may, by a vote of two-thirds of each House, remove such disability.
Wow, MP. You middle of the road guys really know how harsh a buzz. I'd rather they were drawn and quartered then deepfried and fed to the hogs.

It seems that one TP leader , from Wisconsin I think, has pissed off all the businessmen in his district so they are going to run a moderate Repub against him in the primary

So, the vets need Congressmen in tow to see the WW2 memorial, but immigration rallies on the 'closed' Mall A-OK?

Nope, the vets are free to be there when they make it clear that they are exercising their First Amendment rights, just as those participating in that rally have made clear.

Was listening to Angry Man radio this morning. Of course it is all conservative all the time. To my surprise the host of the show is against what congress did about the ACA. Very critical of Boehner and his handling of this crisis. Wanted him to settle and move on. Now the callers were more in line with what I expected to hear.

Those very same Congress folks who shut down the government showed up for their photo ops. I guess irony never crossed their minds.

Let it. When it hits bottom----buy. It's what Congress does.
