I think the original intent was to demonstrate another crazy thing said by a religious zealot. It demonstrates an attitude among American religious fanatics somewhat akin to the attitude among some Muslim zealots who would disfigure young women according to some warped religious perspective.

Don, I don't understand why groups of people gather to go nude in the first place. But I guess if it tickles their fancy more power to em.

Also it is a big thing in the UK. Places in America too, but on a smaller level. I heard there's a nudist place in Murfreesboro TN also. You won't find me there, but you won't find me telling them it's wrong and they need to take it elsewhere either. I can't see it from my house anyways so it doesn't bother us.
