While she would be eons better than most of the occupants of that bench, she is such an effective advocate that I want her out front instead of cloistered.

I was jousting with Bob. Even so, supreme court candidates are not so hard to come by (*) and most are introverted. A presidential candidate? Not so easy.

* Remember Harriet Miers?

If I am not mistaken a law degree is not required for the Supreme Court. Real people need to be put there. I would take Saul Goodman from Breaking Bad over Alito any day of the week. Alito, Mr Conservative and Libertarian, has always been on the government pay role if I am not mistaken....so am I but I am a liberal

my point is how real world is a lawyer that has only been working in the Federal government hearing appeals or arguing as solicitor generals...do they have a connection to everyday life?

we need lawyers on the court that graduated from Cleveland State not Harvard or Yale

maybe I am wrong about their experience but what kind of idiot thinks a corporation is a person? Someone who is disconnected from reality....these justices have not taken a Greyhound bus trip EVER!

I think they know exactly what they are doing. They are puppets put there to promote a right wing agenda.
