Not exactly a resume enhancement for the Dems to be held in check by a bunch of refugees from the Island of Misfit Toys.
Whell done sir.

To be honest, it was a pretty astute post - even if I disagree with parts. But it boils down to finding another way to say that Washington is broken.

The only way to un-break the government is for the electorate to quit being so lazy and stupid. The problem with the Constitution is that it requires some personal investment of time and interest on the part of the people. Without that, it's just a manifesto written by a pack of slave traders.

Well that right there is the fault of your vaunted Constitution with its rubber checks and lousy bank balances.

Oh and before someone starts yelling I only promised to uphold it. I never promised to close my eyes to its faults.

Are you telling me that the Founding Fathers were not deity? At least to the extent that they wrote parts of the Constitution that we agree with, anyway.

Were that to happen, the GOP would lose its base.

Like it's that easy to tell one crypto-dickhead from another unless they self-identify by claiming allegiance to some agenda alien to your interests. Down here it's a race to the bottom of which conservative dickhead can out - conservative the other conservative dickheads.
