Listen to Chas-He speaketh The Truth...My late mama had a sayin', too, for all the Bomb-Throwers, left & right-"You can catch a LOT more flies w/Honey than you can w/Vinegar..." Miss my Mama...She's only been gone about 18 months...

I don't think we ever stop missing them. Sounds like some of what she stood for is still with you.

My mama never said anything about a box of chocolates, though.

Well I went back and listened to him, not all of it as I had just eaten and did not want to upchuck. Frex, his BS statement implying that it was the government that caused the housing crisis. Certainly everyone has the right to own a home - if they can afford one. It was never a mandate that everyone be given a mortgage even if they could not make the payments. It was the brokers and the banks (can you say Wells Fargo) who wrote those crooked mortgages, then bundled them into derivatives and sold them - after they had peeled a handsome profit off the top.

Goldmann Sachs sold derivatives then sold bets that the payment would fail, rather like selling a blind man a car then buying insurance on his life. Pull your effing heads out and take an honest look around, we were not born yesterday, nor the day before that either.

Yes but if you were drinking all night long that doesnt help.
