Welcome back, Bro. Missed ya.

Some/thing needs to kill this and abomination is a good description.

Well it seems that in the best Jack System tradition Brown will vote against health care reform not because he is against it but "MA already has healthcare coverage for everybody so why should we pay for healtcare for Texas".

Understandable to an extent because TX has the most unisured of any state in the union however it could also be taken as Dog-Manger-Woof.

This goes back to a panel discussion at the time of the Republican National Convention where Sarah Palin was chosen as Vee Pee candidate. The discussion turned to the topic of Bristol Palin. Cosmo centerfold Scott Brown had this to say:

Brown: "I mean, quite frankly, Barack's mom had him when, when, what, she was 18 years old?"

Other Guest: "And married."

Brown: "Mmmm, uh, (chuckle) well, I don't know about that, (chuckle) but, more importantly, the, uh, the fact that she had him at 18 years old..."

So, Brown thinks Obama may well be a bastard? Nice!

This is a reflection of the more extreme Birther position that not only was Obama not born in the US but that his parents never married.

How can anyone take these people seriously?

John

I got that dialogue from a 14 second video clip. It's pretty out of context so I tried to find a longer version but I couldn't.

It's just that the smirky, chuckly "I don't know about that" was entirely gratuitous and its intent was obvious, especially since it's part of the Birther mythology.

These guys truly have no shame.

If it were a Republican they would celebrate how they overcame the disadvantages of being born to a teen age mother, like Palin's litter.

Here's a thought. Brown/Palin (or Palin/Brown) in 2012. The ex-beauty queen and the ex-centerfold. My God, these wing nuts have no intellect at all!

By the way, I think Cosmo Boy will win.
