Bush won only if the counties Gore asked for a recount in were counted. If the entire state had been recounted Gore would have won by a very slime margin of around 500 votes. Gore hung himself by requesting that only the heavily Democratic counties be recounted.

It did not make any difference one way or the other because 5 of the 9 unelected and unaccountable kings of the US stopped all the counting and appointed W President.

And wasn't it, if they counted how Bush wanted Gore would've won?

Gore won. As with 60 Kennedy election sometimes it does not matter who wins.

I can think of one very good reason for being against voter ID, it makes voter fraud harder.
