Yet another person who aligned himself with Trump and lied on his behalf is now indicted. Looks like he got bad legal advice. Had he cooperated with DOJ, he would easily obtained immunity. He was Trump's valet and was just moving boxes around upon orders. But he did draw a six figure salary (from Trump's PAC) and probably did not want to give it up. His legal bills are also being paid by the PAC.

In the order of probability I think this case is the easiest to prove and convict on. The Jan 6th case would probably be the hardest one but with Mark Meadows rolling over on him it would be much easier.

And the legal advice he receives will not be in his best interest.

Sad part is that this guy Walt Nauta hails from a small town in Guam, good family background, 20 years service in the Navy who was Trump's valet in the WH and then retired from the Navy to continue the same job in Trump's MAL as a civilian. Yes, a six figure salary for a valet would be great enticement, but now he is certain to be convicted for having lied repeatedly. Sad, but no one forced him to go work for Trump. having been in the WH and seeing so many careers ruined, he should have known better or its the call of MAGA.

What is happening to Trump should've happened to that scumbag Dick Nixon back in the early '70s. Letting Tricky Dick walk led directly to der Pumpkinfurher thinking he could do anything and get away with it.

I so look forward to Whell defending his Dear Leader for this. He is likely waiting to hear some wingnut pundit to parrot.
