If you want to become President of the United States of America you can't be a nice person like... let's say... the Dalai Lama.

You got no chance without a killer instinct, lovingkindness does not make political champions. Both Drumpf and Hillary are ruthless pushy individuals I would never like to meet. Anyway I am glad that the iron Grandma Hillary will make it for sure.

Hell, Reagan got elected - so did Roosevelt, Jimmy Carter, and Obama.

IMO the electorate has to sense/believe you are in it for something other than yourself and actions speak louder than campaign drivel and nitwit slogans.

The choices the political machines have left us with this time around are so useless it boggles the mind.

I am actually beginning to like Trump, he is quite entertaining in the Palin mold. I also think she will be a great pick by him for the VP slot.

Am I the only one that is finding him and his blather becoming so grating that I'd welcome someone punching his face on camera hard enough to break bones and put him on his ass in a coma to make it stop.
In the meantime he's showing the base of the Repugs for what it is and always has been, Jesus weasels notwithstanding.

You are experiencing a troubling but very common human emotion. People often experience this emotion regarding people they think are dangerous to them for some reason.

It's more like he's become an inescapable annoying and potentially dangerous stalker.
And it's not just him, he's a catalyst for a groundswell of emotions and attitudes no one can take pride, including myself. The only remedy is patience and any comparatively acceptable alternative.
