Remember during the 2016 campaign Trump would weirdly have a song by the Rolling Stones played at the end of his speeches?

The song was "You Can't Always Get What You Want."

I was always mystified by that. I mean the song is just not a feel good campaign song at all...nothing like say the Bruce Springsteen songs used by Obama or the Fleetwood Mac song that Bill Clinton used back in the 1990s. I guess the most famous example would by Reagan's off-kilter use of Born In The USA even though he really didn't recognize the irony in the song itself. But I can understand why he mistakenly picked the song on the just the basis of the title.

Then a few days ago Trump revealed the truth of his actual philosophy and world view via a surrogate...Jared Kushner. Who came out and made the asinine assertion that the Federal Stockpile of Ventilators belonged only to the Federal government since it was indeed the Federal Stockpile of Ventilators. Circular logic designed to just add gasoline to the pandemic.

Holy shit. Trump is saying to to the various coronavirus impacted states, and ultimately to the American people, that "you can't get what you want." At a time when what we need will actually keep Americans from dying! He sees this plague as just another transaction in which he can screw over the other party that he has an obligation that is owed.

Just like when he never paid contractors who did work on his casinos, etc. Just like he never reimburses local municipalities for the overtime required for their police departments when he has his big rallies in their cities.

He doesn't care about Americans we are just transactional to him...red or blue is the way he sees us and acts accordingly. As long as Melania, Ivanka, Jared and Baron do not get sick he could care less.

When the wave hits Florida and say Mississippi he may have Jared unlock his Federal Stockpile of Ventilators...but only because of the votes.

You Can't Always Get What You Want...and God help us if Trump is the arbiter of what you need.

I'm expect the song was meant as a taunting address to Trump opponents. But you are tragically right about Trump's selective concern for the American people. Red we help, blue we kill if possible.

Trumper flatulence. Carlson has no more credibility than your lying-ass president.

Free discussion you say? There's already plenty of free discussion. For instance, again yesterday your president doubles down on hydroxychloriquin/azithromycin treatment...

"It's a great and powerful anti-malaria drug and there are signs that it works on this, some very strong signs. Azithromycin will kill certain things that you don't want living within your body. They say taking it before the fact is good, but what do you have to lose? I've seen things that I sort of like. I'm not looking at it one way or the other, but we want to get out of this. If it does work, it would be a shame if we didn't do it early. But we have some very good signs. So, what do I know, I'm not a doctor. I'm not a doctor. But I have common sense. "what really do we have to lose. I am saying to do what you want. It may not work and in which case, hey, it didn't work, and it may work," but I don't want to wait a year and a half to find out. As you know, the FDA approved it, they gave it a rapid approval."

That last comment is a typical outright Trump lie.

So yes, Don...there's plenty of free discussion. From Donald. When Fauci was asked if it's safe, Trump effectively shoved him out of the way to blurt out the above braindead babbling.

What do you have to lose, not much unless you happen to be vulnerable to the side effects that will kill you.

"Azithromycin will kill certain things...", eh Donald? When that popped out of his festering piehole, I was so overwhelmed with laughter, I almost shit my pants. Yep, it will kill certain things like your ignorant fat ass, Donald.

So this shit is better than what we're getting from Fauci? Really? WTF is wrong with you, man?

COVID-19 deaths are likely much higher than the official counts.

Because the shitgibbon fucked around for two months after being advised of a likely worldwide pandemic. And we're still not testing everybody who needs to be tested, which is all 340 million of us. Gov. Raimondo of Rhode Island has worked out a deal with CVS for those infected, suspected of being infected, or at risk for being infected because of their jobs, to get the 15 minute test, at a beginning rate of 2,000 per day at CVS free drive thru locations. Georgia has the same deal with CVS.

Meantime we have daily campaign speeches and PPE and ventilators being shipped to red states. And the country as a whole has no deal with any provider of free 15 minute testing. When we crushed the Nazis, FDR didn't tell the governors to figure out for themselves how many service personnel their states were going to contribute to the war effort.

And everybody is screaming at or about Donald Trump. When there should be equal time spend on McConnell, Graham, and Grassley. Who are responsible for us being stuck with this shitgibbon. It's on every fucking one of them.

And what's on them? For instance this morning...

US Cases 367,719 Deaths 10,943 Death rate 3%
Germany Cases 103,717 Deaths 1,822 Death rate 1.7%

Germany was testing immediately. South Korea was testing immediately. Singapore was testing immediately.

The above data is from https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/ Case data worldwide, by country, death rate, incubation info, symptoms, etc.

Thanks to Donald, Mitch, Lindsey, Chuck, and every other Republican politician and any voter who casts even a single vote for any Republican politician including Willard, for any public office anywhere in this fucked up country.

Will any one be surprised if in the finding out this was intentional acts, not because of incompetence. Rather all in the total seizure, power grab to effect the elections.
Just like is happening in WI today. Cheating is a time test and proven way, used effectively by the Republicans. So look for all the stops to be removed in the coming months.

Also when you add the chance for them to make money off of this into the mix.
A no brainier for them!
A twofer!

Shipping ventilators to Florida and none to New York was not a mindlessly incompetent act. It was a November vote procuring act. The shitgibbon knows he will never win in New York. But he knows he can lose Florida if enough people die for the lack of ventilators. Or he can lose in Florida if he doesn't do something to balance off Floridians inability to get unemployment benefits due to the anti-unemployment benefits policies of Scott and DeSantis.
