Gaddafi killed?
It has not been confirmed, but most of the news outlets are indicating that Gaddafi was killed or seriously wounded in his home town.

Just read in the Boston globe that he was captured by the Libyan NTC.

With his death imminent, Kahddafi reportedly told his captors that they were violating Muslim law.

There are a number if interesting/troubling ethical questions about the way his actual death came about, but that is an issue for another thread.

That is a good question... was the Colonel's death a violation of Islamic law. Probably so, as a good Muslim is not supposed to kill another Muslim. Isn't the way they are displaying his corpse a violation of Islamic religious custom?

Forcing women to be fully covered is also nothing to do with Islamic law.

Didn't do him much good, did it?

Personally, I think he could have stated his case better with a couple of Claymores and an M60.

Huge difference between a country with a Muslim population and a Muslim country. Kinda like Iran before and after the revolution. I'm thinking Libya will slowly become another Iran.
