It doesn't matter what this guy thinks, it doesn't matter what he invests in. It's his money. It is literally his business.

Thank goodness they found that in the Constitution

Pete
The Thomas Jefferson that you are so fond of quoting wanted an 11th Amendment in the BOR that would restraining the power of corporations. I guess he foresaw the shit they would bring down upon us all if not restrained.

As for religion, what if his religion justifies and even demands he advertise falsely and lower the wages?

You can't do anything you want because you are 'exercising your religion.' There is vast precedent for limiting religious practice, when it impact other people.

And of course, having your own money does not mean you can do as you please with it, in all respects. The law is the law; duty is duty. Same for everybody.

At least until the Roberts court came along.
Oh how true he and the others should be removed as they can hardly be said to be "on good behavior" as Article III demands

I suddenly sense a BIG profit opportunity! The owning class will be quick to see the possibilities here, now that their religion trumps other law....

Did you know that Star Trek actually revealed the ultimate troo religion? The "Church of the Ferengi" will open on Earth shortly! Tithing will not be optional....

Begin now to familiatize yourself with the holy "Rules of Acquisition." http://en.memory-alpha.org/wiki/Rules_of_Acquisition

And just call me "Grand Nagus."

BS alert. There were two amendments in the Bill of Rights that were not adopted with the original 10. One of the omitted articles, which deals with the size of electoral districts, has yet to be ratified. The other, which prohibits pay raises for Congress members until the next election takes place, was ratified in 1992 as the 27th Amendment.

Your "BS alert" is rude BS, based on a obviously invalid argument. The existence of the two amendments you mention does not mean Jefferson didn't want the one to limit corporations.

Agreed. Either party would be hard pressed to claim Jefferson nowadays. He's like an old moonshiner defending his still
