The State Department website lists no consulate in Benghazi.

You're wrong. The State Dep't has officially had an embassy in Tripoli since May 15, 2006. Embassies offer consular services, as well as the other diplomatic functions, unlike consulates which only offer only consular services.

Uh huh, and how long have they had the consular section opened, or according to the website, re-opened?
Since August 26, when Stevens said "we are ready to offer a full range of consular services to Libyans".
If there were already a dedicated consulate in Benghazi, why would he say that? And again, where is anything on the website saying there's a consulate in Benghazi? If they were offering these services, you'd think that information would be on their website so folks would know where to go, wouldn't you?

The embassy in Tripoli was closed during the uprising and all personnel evacuated. The speech you quoted referred to its reopening.

Those four guys got hung out to dry, and Obama lead a cover up. If not him, who told Carney to tell us that the attack was over a film? Hillary can already tell us what kind of mufflers are on the bus, but she will shut her trap and take it just like Bill does. This is nothing new, Obama has never had any honor that I've seen. The men who died were heroes, and shamefully betrayed.

Since you apparently decided not to read the thread, TD, I'll repeat:
"What do eyewitnesses say about the events in Benghazi? Were they related to the insulting video, or is that a red herring? And was the assault planned for the anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks, or was it spontaneous?
According to reporting by David D. Kirkpatrick and Suliman Ali Zway of The New York Times, eyewitnesses have said there was no peaceful demonstration against the video outside the compound before the attack, though a crowd of Benghazi residents soon gathered, and some later looted the compound. But the attackers, recognized as members of a local militant group called Ansar al-Shariah, did tell bystanders that they were attacking the compound because they were angry about the video. They did not mention the Sept. 11 anniversary. Intelligence officials believe that planning for the attack probably began only a few hours before it took place."

If someone said that Obama raped a white woman, you'd believe it because you want to believe it.
That is unless she got pregnant. Then it wasn't legitimate rape.

I've told you a dozen times that I can't stand, nor do I watch Hannity. What part of that are you struggling with?
No, I didn't read the entire thread, it's 24 pages long and I have a life. I was just giving my opinion. For now, we can still do that in this country.
BTW
Greetings Patriots,
