Would "enthusiastically greet" do?

Entirely different.

What is your interpretation?

Believe the Polls This Time
These aren’t Hillary Clinton’s numbers. Biden has a wide lead because the landscape has changed.

It hinges on the definition of "practicaly"._

I read 'practically shouting' in the context as 'greeting in a markedly loud voice, approaching or at least suggesting the volume of a shout.' It would indicate the greeter was stimulated and enthusiastic.

I see Biden as the worst presidential candidate in my 66 years. The only way he beats trump is if Trump dies or there is massive voter fraud outside of California and NY.

I base that on several things:
1. Trumps accomplishments in spite of being fought tooth and nail by the MSM (except Fox) since the day he won the election regarding Russiagate and impechment.
2. His approval before the virus.
3. His handling of the virus, much of which was giving mayors and governors enough rope to hang themselves.
4. His handling of the protests/looting/rioting, much of which was giving mayors and governors enough rope to hang themselves.
5. The fact that the stock market and jobs are already coming back with a vengeance.
6. Where I think we will be by election day regarding all of the above.

To unseat an incumbent, it takes some pretty bad ju-ju. The MSM performed a mighty effort to make it happen, but they just don't have the power they used to. CNN have absolutely embarrassed themselves with their hate-trump-all-the-time message.

The rest of this year will be a real show.
