FAKE NEWS EXPOSED: A Service of PoliticalChat.com

If it appears the volume of deception coming from MAGA Republicans is increasing, that is because it is. Two academics from New York University set about documenting the proliferation of rubbish in a study they described this week for The Post’s Monkey Cage feature. They found that 36 percent of the news that Republican congressional candidates shared on social media came from unreliable sources on an average day from January to July, up from 8 percent for the same period in 2020. (The news shared by Democratic candidates from unreliable sources rose to 2 percent from 1 percent.)…

It is disinformation Darwinism: Falsify more, or fade away; become more outrageous, or perish. The ceiling of crazy in one cycle becomes the floor in the next.

Fascist Repukes on Michigan board blocks certification of abortion rights ballot measure, throwing it to the courts

https://www.politico.com/news/2022/0...asure-00054406

700,000 valid signatures, more than enough to qualify for the ballot, blocked by fascists. Michigan appears to be a shithole state.

Interesting, though entirely self serving. I suspect, for example, that WaPo is regarded as a "reliable source", no matter that they publish poorly sourced stories which later turn out to be less than accurate.

How many Pulitzers do your sources have?

You get lost again on the way to the keyboard? Obstructing access is central to the case being made against Trump.

Self-serving? It was a study by NYU. The WashPost is probably more reliable than any other news source for political and criminal happenings in DC and has been for ~50 years. Which widely distributed national news source is more reliable? NewsMax? OANN? Fox News? Breitbart? Gateway Pundit? Epoch Times? Washington Times? Washington Examiner?

Name one (or more).

You have to read this Whell, their arguments are at your level, even a high schooler can do better.

Opinion
A Trump lawyer’s ludicrous spin on ‘Hannity’ unmasks the Fox News ruse

https://www.washingtonpost.com/opini...ina-habba-doj/

Here are some highlights from the inimitable Alina Habhaba.
this after JD submitted photographs of Trump's private office at Mar-a-Lago.

Quote:
“That is not the way his office looks,” Habba said, later adding, “He has guests frequently there.”
Quote:
Trump was “allowed” to declassify the materials, Habba said. “Nobody talks about that. Instead, they look at the three statutes that they brought.”
Faux legal analyst:
Quote:
“Where is evidence of that?” the analyst asked. “If the president truly thought he had a right to access and custody of these presidential papers, there’s no corrupt intent here.”
Note these are presidential papers now, not classified government documents.

I was referring to your assertion that the FBI made public claims about Trump frolicking with Russian hookers. They did no such thing and you know it.

Slow your roll, Finn. I never claimed that they did. You're misreading something somewhere. I was responding to post 2261, which made no mention of Russian hookers. It was about allegations of obstruction.
