Ok on that note what would you consider a proper "test" for someone that wants to own guns?

Duke researchers put masks, face coverings to the test

https://www.wral.com/coronavirus/duk...test/19225401/

Quote:
"The mask that stood out by far is the N95, the true fitted N95 mask," Fischer said.

Fischer also said surgical masks "did a really good job."

Despite testing, the surgical mask didn’t do as well as the N95 because there are some gaps in the mask where droplets can escape. Researchers found that the two-layer cloth mask doesn’t give droplets much room to escape. However, it does not provide a tight seal like the N95.

"The cloth masks were pretty good," said Duke Dr. Eric Westman, an internal medicine physican. "They were pretty well. They blocked most of the particles."
Once again, our resident, self-styled "experts on everything" Trumpkin idiots are proven to be know-nothings. Cloth masks do work. Mine is two layers, with a 5-layer PM2.5 filter between the cloth layers.

FWIW, I spent a week at Duke years ago. Nice university, but I hated that part of the country. Hot, humid, and the whole place seemed claustrophobic; pine trees everywhere, no mountains or anything else to see on the horizon, extremely boring place physically. Can't imagine being stuck living there.

Some people choose to believe Russian disinformation over the doctors and epidemiologists.

Assaulting a worker who's enforcing masks is now a felony under a new Illinois law

https://www.cnn.com/2020/08/10/us/as...rnd/index.html

Excellent! Should be a felony everywhere. Frontline workers taking the brunt of this Trumpkin idiocy.

My wife is prohibited from telling Home Despicable customers that they have to wear a mask. She can offer them a free mask, that's it. Thanks Langone, I feel so much better knowing that profit trumps my wife's health and well being.

The Home Depot I shop at has signs up saying masks are required for entrance. Everyone complies and we don't have any tRumpkin idiots starting $h*t. Of course we have a governor who takes Covid-19 seriously and isn't scared of Donny.

Last week my wife said the Sams Club had what looked to be two "bouncers" at the door enforcing the masks wearing.

Same with our local menards but hey they have the right as a business. Menards here is kind of like wal mart. Go in get everything you need and leave. If they require a mask then fine, wear it if you want to go in.

We also have Menard's here. Do not frequent thou. Hate having to walk from one end to the other getting things. Try and stay out of big box stores as much as possible. Wife loves them, so I wait out in car when she's inside. Or stay home. She likes "shopping" not me it is "get what you came for and out the door"....
