Over The Rhine Ohio Vol.2 2003
Bob Dylan Tempest 2012
Cat Power Sun 2012
Patty Griffin Impossible Dream 2004
The Band Stage Fright 1970
The Band Cahoots 1971
The Band Moondog Matinee 1973
For those that have not heard Dylan's Tempest, I suggest you do. I really like his aging voice and the overall dark nature of the album.
Are there any Patty Griffin fans here? Her song "Mary", which I first heard while watching Sons of Anarchy, is a great tribute to the strength of women IMHO. Great song.
BTW, Mary is not on the above Patty Griffin album.
Oh well, time to get ready for my Charger's first test. No offense to any Raiders or Titan fans.

Ani Difranco again. This time, "Not a Pretty Girl".
I don't exactly know why I'm on this Ani jag today, other than she's damn good. Maybe it was BH mentioning Over the Rhine. Their singer is seriously indebted to Difranco for much of her vocal style.

My 22 and 24 year olds grew up listening to Hendrix, Cream, Doors, Muddy Waters, BB King, as well as the newer stuff. Now my 24 year old makes rock music.
