Trump has seemingly lost his last bid to delay where he wanted the appeals court to remove Merchan from the case. There was one more appeal he made to the same court challenging the gag order, but so far have not seen any updates. But that's a lost cause anyway, only filed as a delay tactic.

The third delay attempt this week is simply mind boggling to say the least and the Appeals Court did not even give him an opportunity to argue the case.

In the recently denied request, Trump's lawyers were seeking an indefinite delay so they could remove Merchan as presiding judge and challenge several of his rulings, AP reports.

They claimed Merchan had "exceeded his authority" by not delaying the case until the Supreme Court rules on whether Trump, as a former president, has immunity from criminal prosecution.

How does his presidential immunity even apply here when the payoff to Stormy happened way before his election for president? Shouldn't some of his attorneys be sanctioned for bringing such trivial attempts to delay the case from moving forward?

A pulled back isn't life threatening. They need an excuse, er, reason for him to be hospitalized. Given that he (they say) is such a fine physical specimen it's going to have to be a whopper.
