Giuliani doesn't have the capacity to frame the concern he was trying to establish, mainly because he doesn't hold it close to his heart. It is a two parter.
Why do we not hold all lives to be precious, and not allow murder? Especially in the black community, where 93% of all homicide is black on black, AND where close to 50% remain unsolved because no witnesses come forward.
What Giuliani tried to point out, in his usual inept manner, was the duality of the overwhelming black community's concern regarding police brutality, and the almost complete silence in investigations for many black on black murders.
There needs to be an evolution to where all murder investigations receive equal overwhelming support from the black community. The culture of omerta, and disdain for snitching, needs to end. Accountability needs to begin.
