Actually, to stay within the culture of AK, I should have said, not "derailing threads", but "Thread crapping". It's against the rules there, but this site is a bit more, um, free wheeling.

I can see how a thin skinned person, such as youself (?), might just be embarrassed by a pot calling the kettle black point which hoisted him with his own petard, and perceive it as a personal attack.

There's a good chance anyone who complains as regularly as you about being an ad hominem victim has thin skin issues.
