If the point is (and it is) that the Tea Party movement is dangerous, misguided, promotes violent over-throw of the government, and propels people to act on those ideals, it's pretty relevant.
The Tea Party is becoming a domestic terror organization. I think it's worthy of notation when their members go on a killing spree in the name of the revolution they were called upon to incite.

Sounds like an apt description of every militia wackjob who ran to Bundy's ranch from all over the country, including the Millers. Aren't you getting the slightest bit dizzy defending that racist deadbeat rancher Cliven Bundy Mike?

Of course, there's no proof positive of what exactly triggered this specific instance of mayhem. It remains true, however, that he went armed to the Nevada desert to stand up against law enforcement officers doing their sworn duty in trying to implement a court order and that the armed @ssholes in the desert were praised by the right wing noise machine as patriots. The connection is there. The fact that you insist upon denying it speaks volumes.

Wait.
No, hang on.
1. Couple shouts something about starting a revolution.
2. Couple kills two cops.
3. Couple drapes Tea Party flag over dead cops.
4. Tea party members continually espouse over-throw of the government.
5. Tea party members continually say they need more and more weapons to prepare for the eventual "show down" with the government.
6. Tea party members say Obama wants to take their weapons so they can no longer defend themselves from the government.
7. Tea party members go to Bundy ranch and point said weapons at federal agents.
8. Among those members at the Bundy ranch are the couple of killed the police officers.
And you're trying to say that this has nothing to do with the Tea Party, Bundy, or the organized movement to over-throw the legitimate government of the United States?
I mean - how much evidence do you need?

Read for yourself the posts of Tea Party members on the subject of overthrowing the legitimate government of the United States.

You forgot that the Teabagger GOP candidate for the Senate from Nevada specifically spoke of the possible need for "Second Amendment Remedies" to deal with the ever-growing "tyrannical" U.S. government.

As pointed out, there is no relevance unless you can demonstrate that these folks were members of a tea party group.

A laughable assertion. I guess, using your logic, we need to consider the Southern Poverty Law Center a domestic terrorist organization, since Floyd Lee Corkins used their web site as an inspiration for his attack on the Family Research Council office.

I fear none will suffice as it would force them to take a long hard look in the mirror and acknowledge that their fearmongering rhetoric is directly responsible for the two peace officer's murders.
It's a good bet that the Millers' would never have acted on their paranoid delusions without the social reinforcement they received out at Bundy's ranch from their fellow gun toting wackjobs.
