In response to Texas abortion law, California Gov. Gavin Newsom says he is working on a bill to allow private citizens to sue anyone who makes or sells assault weapons

https://www.businessinsider.com/gavi...fornia-2021-12

Can’t rule against this now, can you, far-right SCOTUS nut jobs?!

I see a group who on one hand want to save a fetus then because of their love of guns. Allow the killing of hundreds, thousands of people seeing no need for legislation.

Makes no sense.

Maybe we should just call him president Manchin.

It's bad enough when the opposition party tries to kill Biden's agenda. It's worse when you have a Republican agent inside the party trying to do the same thing.
Manchin slams door on Biden's $1.75 trillion investment bill

Quote:
I cannot vote to continue with this piece of legislation," Manchin said during an interview with the "Fox News Sunday" program, citing concerns about inflation.
Funny how Benedict Manchin's views mirror those of the GOP.
If the Repubs take Congress in 2022 Manchin will no longer be needed inside the Democratic party. I look for him to officially switch parties then.

Publicly complimented by #45 on his Liarpalooza tour stop in Arizona. And here we all thought there was a 50-50 split between Dems and Repubs in the Senate.

Manchin is an undercover Republican.

https://www.marketwatch.com/story/sh...?siteid=yhoof2

Except he wants to control how people spend money once it's given to them. Whereas Republicans tout being all about individual freedom.

Not sure what he is...a control freak with a lot of power. He could be one of those lizard people; master of disguise.

Not so far undercover

Report: Corporate donors gave to Manchin before his Build Back Better no-vote decision

Concerned about inflation and worried about what he'll have to say to his constituents my ass.

Quote:
UnitedHealth Group, Blue Cross Blue Shield and CNX Resources, a natural gas company, also gave to Country Roads last month, according to CNBC. In total, Country Roads brought in $110,000 in November alone, the financial news network found.
Quote:
Verizon, Union Pacific, Wells Fargo and other PACs affiliated with the coal and mining industries were among the groups that contributed to Country Roads two months ago.
(Country Roads, Manchin’s political action committee)

Mouthpiece for corporate sponsors and big investors juuust like a good little Republican.

Hillary is the only person who can give the Dems a chance in 2024.

Only a very strong personality, despite the baggage, can save the Dems from the corrosive effect caused by the high inflation affecting food, transportation and shelter.

The inflation is not transitory.

It is a statement on the alarming condition of the politics when the US has to reconsider such a politician.
