It's really a good record and worth a revisit.

Plugged some phones into my little one gig mp3 player, set on random. I don't listen to it that often, so it stays fresh. Anyway, it was kind of fun for it to jump from Adrian Legg to Muddy Waters doing "Mannish Boy", to King Crimson's "21st Century Schizoid Man", to "A Fool Who Knows" by Little Village. But then, it hit on absolutely perfect blues. It was a live performance by Muddy Waters, Pinetop Perkins on Piano, I'm assuming it was Willie Dixon on bass, plus drums, electric guitar and harmonica. Every instrument, every note, fit together in their rendition of "Going Down Slow." From my perspective, the greatest compliment I can give to music is that it is authentic. Man oh man, was this authentic. The timing and feeling of those musicians working together made me feel like I had to get up out of bed and write this down. It was that good!

Regards,

D-Ray

Something to break the silence while I work. Not much time to pick and choose tunes this time of year for me.

Actually, Bob, you should check Accuradio out. Their catalog is very large and very diverse, with customizable channels and sub-channels that would suit anyone's taste.

John Mellencamp "Mr. Happy Go Lucky". Forgot all about this one and found a copy in the dollar bin at the record store. "Cuttin Heads" is another good one.

Mellencamp's a serious lib, TD. Surprised you let that trash in the house, much less admit to listening to it.
