The Company Band ~ Sign Here, Here And Here

Lyrics to the open tune "Company Man"

Make a killer wager, unsurpassed.
Do it for the glory, do it for the cash, shit loads of cash.
Money may buy you things but never class, never class.
Wing back leather chair, Sharper Image flair,
Better than the fetter you call home, you call home.
Sign on the line and it's over before you know.

Business is fine, but you've got to understand.
Competition is fierce, when you're working as a company man.
Not only fun and games, there's a visionary plan.
Your future's wide open. Congratulations! You're a company man!

You got it

Excellence, and dare to dream. Get on board a winning team.
More than a job it's global philosophy, philosophy.
Visualize success, it comes so easily, so damn easily.
By all accounts it's a booming industry.

Business is good, but you've got to understand.
Competition is fierce, when you're working as a company man.
Not only fun and games, there's a visionary plan.
Your future's wide open. Congratulations! You're a company man!

You got it. Make a killer wager.
You got it. Unsurpassed.
You got it. Do it for the glory.
You got it. Do it for the cash.
You got it.

The worst and most caucasian version of a James Brown tune (Living in America) ever foisted upon a political convention.

Romney should lose votes for not just using The Godfather.

So was Pat Boone there? I cringe at the thought.

Companion song for my friend RexE.

"Union Man" by Neil Young

I'm proud to a union man
I make those meetings when I can, yeah
I pay my dues ahead of time
When the benefits come
I'm last in line, yeah.

I'm proud to be a union man.

Every fourth Friday at 10 am
There's a local meeting
of the A F of M, yeah!

This meeting will now come to order
Is there any new business?

Yeah, I think 'Live music are better'
Bumper stickers should be issued.

What was that?

'Live music is better' bumper stickers
Should be issued

The gentleman says
'Live music is better' bumper stickers
Should be issued
All in favor of what he said
Signify by sayin' "ay"

Ay!

If, however, you are opposed
Signify by saying "no".

I'm proud to be a union man.

The Subdudes - s/t

I have tried to like this disk. They definitely have some musicianship. It has a pop flavor, but is not absolute commercial drivel. I guess it's too mellow for my taste - too subdued. I can easily see someone liking this and also liking Lionel Ritchie. Probably won't get too many more spins.

Regards,

D-Ray
