Call out the National Guard?
Start arresting them?

This could spiral out of control.

We have his enablers and supporters who want to gain thru force what they fear loosing at the ballot box.

National Guard can be "federalized." They also might ignore such an order.....

Yes it can get out of control if the Trumpertroopers start doing truly outrageous things--secret detentions and shootings. Short of that probably not a great idea to meet them with force. Just make a lot of noise, get courts to declare them illegal, etc.

They were in open revolt at the time. Armed and looking for a fight.

My idea of the morning is that the feds in cities should be cordoned off. Build barricades around them. Then with new Administration we can stand them down. Trump doesn't have that many loyal troops. Avoid actual fighting just contain them.

Make it a police/national guard thing to 'protect federal personnel and property. Police checkpoints to get in or out.

Have not the Trump police squads attacked protesters far from Federal Property?

I fear if local PD were to attempt enforcement over them it would get ugly. What is gonna happen when the names of these officers is need in court? Like the boy shot in the head already? You know a lawsuit is coming.

I go back and forth in my mind about the danger of letting the Fed attack people with impunity vs the danger of an armed confrontation. I guess let the situation ripen, if it's going to, by which I mean let the Feds get more and more blatantly outrageous in their actions. Meanwhile marshall necessary forces, writs, and injunctions. If they go the full mass-detention, bodies in river route, then shut them down, by whatever means necessary.
