We know that. He's a "soci@list who honeymooned in the Soviet Union."

The real question is would TJ drop Il Duce like a hot rock if he attacked Bernie the way he's been attacking Bush or Cruz or Hillary?

My money's on yes.

I am thinking worse than the honeymoon in the USSR.

He'll make fun of his old grey appearance. He'll mock him as a crochety, feeble old man. He'll say the presidency requires a vigorous real man, not a dried-up impotent looser! He'll call him a crazy senile Marxist egghead.

And that bit of shit would just be the warm up.

Fixed it for you.

Really, I don't think that sort of attack would damage Bernie.

Now Hillary, on the other hand...........

If he's a good NY Italian politician he's got a bit of fascist in him I'm thinking.

Based on what I've read on PC, I'd bet real money that most of our posters are not NYC kind of people. My maternal grandmother was a middle class Brooklyn girl. Until his untimely demise, my brother and Rick were buying their apartment in The Century. Trump is a New Yorker, which is far more telling than his being really rich because really rich New Yorkers are a dime a dozen. Trumps for real and Trump/Rubio is really electable.

I know this is completely anecdotal, but I've worked part-time at a relative's business in NYC for a few years. I talk to and meet a LOT of people there who are native New Yorkers, and I can tell you that Trump seems to be universally despised in that area. They know what he is, I suspect.

And I lived next door in New Jersey for around a decade, spent a lot of time in Manhattan, less time in the Boroughs. Saying that Trump is in some way typical or even stereotypical of New Yorkers is both insulting and wrong.

I am calling the general election right now. I will even be neutral so you "haters" don't get upset.

We have won already.

I trust the American people enough to say that.

The Democrats are going to win.

As a New Yorker who lived for years in the city, I have to take issue.

My wife, at the time, went to one of Trump's weddings, second I think. Previous we had spoken with him at one of his properties while having a cocktail.

Plus I liked his buildings. Did business (not with him) in his flagship building the Trump Tower.
