It was an odd sight indeed. Lots of crazy hippies smoking up the Opera House at the Kennedy Center while sitting under crystal chandeliers on cushy stairs. They haven't had regular rock-n-roll shows there for decades. The Kennedy Center is actually starting to look a little threadbare in places.

Curtis Fuller is some good stuff. Never heard of him but just listened to a sample.

Smooth. Thanks!

Charles Lloyd: FORREST FLOWER

Reconnecting with an album which was huge in the sixties.

The title tune is a fav of mine; I sometimes hum it when I am under stress.

Wonderful support given by:

Jack DeJohnette
Keith Jarret
Cecil McBee

Rosanne Cash - Seven Year Ache

followed by an excellent T-Bone Burnett EP entitled Trap Door. This one has a killer cover of Diamonds Are a Girl's Best Friend.
