I have a creepy question. Why are the Tea Party members considered conservative?
On my commute today, I was listening to my friend Sean and he was ranting and raving against the "mainstream" republicans and singing praises of the TP faction as being true conservatives. To me it looks like they are the new OWS without the S as in occupy Washington.

How anyone can listen to the babblings of Bachmann, Cruz and Palin and NOT think these people are whacked is completely beyond me. Obama is a paragon of rationality by comparison.

My guess--and this is only speculation--is that the artist was deliberately ironic, but the guy paying him to make cartoons like that missed it....
