We live about 60 miles south of the Black Rock desert and it rained quite heavily this morning. So conditions should be much worse today than earlier in the weekend. "We are stuck in Black Rock desert" will be a factual statement.

Last summer I made a day trip to Black Rock desert with a friend, but not my cup of tea. Pyramid Lake nearby is far more picturesque.
