B&D makes all of their stuff offshore.

I AM going to get off my lazy butt tomorrow and change the trans fluid/filter. On these old battleaxes there is a drain for the torque converter too so you get a lot of the old fluid out.

$4.15/gl gas. Oof.

Reminds me. Some cretin stole the toolbox out of my truck last week. It had the key socket thingy for my wheel locks in it. I bought a set of extractor sockets, but none of them fit.

Any ideas?

Dave

Wow, that really sucks!

I've got nothing. That kind of problem can be very difficult. Are they factory locks?

So blue, did you get them off?

Looking around at car amps (makes me feel like a kid) I've come across some interesting things. Got Mac?:

100 wpc rms x 4.

And for the tubers, drivers anyway:

Like anything the sky is the limit, I guess. I'm just looking for something modest but good SQ.

Shit, thats downheartin' news there. I was just lookin' at Craftsman as I'll have to update my tools to find work. Though I do have 'what I need' to get by, .. a shop says I must invest in at least 6k worth of new toolbox and tools before they'll hire me. Damn hard to do when your broke and looking for work. I can make do with the 4+k toolset I put together nearly two decades ago, .. but shops here want their employee's to go all out fancy .. or look for work elsewhere. Damn shame people can't be happy with what they have these days. So what if I've worn off some of the chrome from my snap-on, matco, s-k, craftsman and blackhawk mixed breed roll-away collection I built a few pieces at a time as I could afford. Damn, now they aint 'pretty enough' for a shop owners liking to hire me. Nevermind everything works & fits just fine and is still under warrenty EXCEPT for the chrome finish that naturaly wears after years of use. Hell, I'm proud of my tools, they have character, wich means I'm a bit season with 'em. A newhire in dept for thousands for 'new' shiny tools doesn't make him a better mechanic. I've learned a-lot as my tools and I faded in appearence together, shouldn't that be good enough to hire a man?

You don't want to work for an outfit that cares more about what your tools look like than what you know. Sooner or later there would be disagreements and hard feelings.
