I suggest you listen to the audiobooks on cd...way better than the series. I quit watching at the red wedding and listen to the cds as I commute.

It's also worth noting that the HBO series hasn't really followed the books all that faithfully
and, in fact has gotten ahead of the books effective with the upcoming season.

The above video is from a rally Trump conducted the day before the SC Republican primary. Obviously, it didn't hurt him with the base. It may also be worth noting that the rally was held in North Charleston, the city where, last spring, Officer Michael murdered Walter Scott over a burned out tail light.

I haven't seen any of the most recent season, but it doesn't matter, I can't keep the names of the characters straight anyway so I have no idea who you are talking about.

I mostly watch it for the hot topless babes and the swordfights.
