We've discussed this business of calling people cockroaches before. All Republicans may not be evil, but stuff like that is not the way to show it....

People with flu symptoms is an outbreak area must be treated like lepers until cleared by a lab test. BTW, it will happen somewhere that a person is cleared by a lab test, and then catches Ebola afterwards....

I almost posted that you didn't comment on that DQ

I thought about the screening. Agreed that could happen if it spreads! Of course you wouldn't want to go to the hospital if you thought you had the flu, for fear of catching ebola.

Meanwhile, yesterday CNN presented the scary novelist who wrote 'Outbreak' as an authority on Ebola. I can't wait for Fox to feature Stephen King, author of 'The Stand', as the next authority on infectious diseases.

Hospitals are thick enough in this country that in most areas you could designate one to be the 'Ebola hospital,' and everybody else could go to others.

"Gold in their blood" http://www.washingtonpost.com/news/m...ebola/?hpid=z1

Nina Pham, the nurse in Texas, received a transfusion from Ebola survivor, Dr. Kent Brantly who received a transfusion from a 14 year old survivor in Africa.

WHO projecting 10,000 new cases per week in Africa by early December.

Given the havoc we've rained upon our fellow species, I can't help but think that life's immune system is kicking in. Sooner or later an extremely nasty airborne virus will arise.
