One Republican's plan to reduce healthcare costs. Treat only the insured. Who benefits? Of course the Health Insurance industry. ACA increases their revenue, this plan cuts their losses. That's a win win.

If this keeps trending downwards the mystical/mythical wind at the backs of the Repubs in '14 might turn out to be a headwind.

Let us identify this 'let them die' Republican. He's not just anybody, unfortunately, he's the governor of a state. The unfortunate state is Georgia, and his name is Nathan Deal.

One of the comments on the source page is so perfect, I will quote it in lieu of making up my own:

"How does a jack ass like this get into public office. In a decent society he would not have a chance in hell of ever getting his voice even heard. Today GOP the party of hate and that is on a good day."

People like Deal should not be allowed to procreate but I note that he is wearing a wedding ring. One look at his mouth should have been enough to make any woman run for her life.

The people of Georgia might consider a run for the state line.

I cropped that pic down from a scene of him receiving a 'paying his respects' visit from the Japanese Counsel. Was looking for something that showed the personality more than the usual posed portrait or 'head shot at the podium....' Lots of body language here.

The people of GA have a long history of putting jack asses in office witness Newt "sorry to hear about your cancer honey, here sign these divorce papers" Gingrich, and Saxby "Max Cleland is a traitor" Chambliss.

If the electorate of the State of Georgia is any less cretinous than that of the State of South Carolina, it ain't by much.

Do they have a common water supply by any chance?
