Who knows what to believe, we'll just have to wait it out and hope all ends well.

No, it's not airborne. No maybe about it. If you have anything but supposition to the contrary, let's see it.
It's extremely hard to catch if no one around has it. If you're going to a place where lots of people have it, it's a great idea to be careful.
Beyond that, 'easy to catch' and 'hard to catch' are subjective evaluations. The broad statistical average in Africa seems to be about 1.95 people catch it from every person that's got it. You can call that easy or hard, as you wish. It's not nearly as easy as flu, but it's way too easy for something as bad as it is....

There is precedent, earlier in the article, for Hatfirld misspeaking....

He meant to say 'worth as soldiers,' I'm pretty sure....

Agreed. Most people don't perform the very risky practices of washing and preparing corpses for burial in this country like they do in these extremely impoverished countries, Liberia, Sierra Leone and Guinea.

Both of them. Don't forget Daddy Bush was director of the CIA when they trained the Mujahedeen, OBL in attendance.
My, Oh my, how we can create a mess!

Everything is Bush's fault. It's a great thing if you're a Dem, and, say, don't kill the cockroaches before they spread

Agreed. Flu segue, I heard an interesting comment this am, that if it becomes an issue here ANYONE with the flu will be treated like a leper. That sure sounds like human nature.

If the policeaman in Texas who visited the apartment comes down with this disease then I extremely skepitcal of it being hard to catch. However Duncan's fiance has not caught any symptoms yet from what I have heard on the news.

It was stupid and irresponsible to say that this virus only spreads on contact.
As I posted earlier in the thread, the spread of virus is not definitively know and they are constantly mutating.

LOL, this reminds me of good old John Madden. "Well you see, if you score more touchdowns your likely to win the game."

The LA Times piece, as I said, is all 'scientists' engaging in public supposition and speculation, without an actual evidence. Maybe it can mutate, we can't rule anything out, etc. Actual evidence, since 1976, says no airborne transmission except for whatever distance body fluids can be projected through the air. That's fact unless and until new evidence shows something else.
You have your opinion about what is stupid and irresponsible, I have mine.
