An industry that affects over 15% of our economy certainly has an impact on interstate commerce. Just as George was acting within the fed jurisdiction over the seas, the HCA is within the fed jurisdiction over interstate commerce.

Although the Constitution set limits on the scope of federal power, legislation over interstate commerce comes within the scope of that power.

The CEO of UnitedHealth Group Stephen Hemsley made $816.99 a minute the last year reported. He was number one , Medco's CEO was number 40 where Rupert Murdock was a mere 90 and James Dimon is 112.

Figured on a 40 hour work week, 52 weeks a year.
