With all of those billioniares dumping tens of millions into Romneys campaign, I'd say our corporatist oligarchy is right around the corner.

Nicely stated, Rob.....
I want my employer like Chas once said he wants the government; "...small and weak enough that I can choke the bastards 'til they turn blue when they screw me around." (Or something to that effect.)

An industry that affects over 15% of our economy certainly has an impact on interstate commerce. Just as George was acting within the fed jurisdiction over the seas, the HCA is within the fed jurisdiction over interstate commerce.
Although the Constitution set limits on the scope of federal power, legislation over interstate commerce comes within the scope of that power.
Hey, my political science degree has to be good for something.

Thanks D. I'm not a gambling man, and nobody took the bet anyway anyway
Dave, so Obama isn't getting millions from billions?
Barbara, I've thought about that, and cat food is waaaay too expensive nowadays. Plus, with dog food you can make your own gravy.

None of them advertise. If they say spoke at a $35,800 a plate dinner they might be seen as a sellout or out of touch

Alot has been said about the size of the Healthcare industry in this country and the effects on this nation economy.
The CEO of UnitedHealth Group Stephen Hemsley made $816.99 a minute the last year reported. He was number one , Medco's CEO was number 40 where Rupert Murdock was a mere 90 and James Dimon is 112.
Figured on a 40 hour work week, 52 weeks a year.
