Sounds almost like a death panel.

Gosh Finn,

I don't know, Rush doesn't seem like such a bad fellow, from what I have heard of him. A little rough and rude around the edges ?

But I don't find him any more offensive than say, Bill Maher ?

I would be happy to see all of these obnoxious political pundits placed in unemployment lines, If I thought for one minute that they were somehow the cause of the discord between Liberals and Conservatives, but I believe they are just the effects of all the hatred between the two.

I suppose the difference is how influential Limbaugh is on the GOP. He made Michael Steele grovel for daring to call him just "an entertainer," and the few comments from top Republicans with regard to Limbaugh's comments have been tepid at best. Limbaugh is a major mover & shaker in the GOP. Maher??? Not so much.

I dunno. I think $1 million is a lot of moving and shaking.

I think Maher has far less influence with Dem voters, and by extension Dem politicians, than Limbaugh. No comparison, really.

I think it goes to Dems realizing that Bill Mahr is an entertainer with a particular bent for sexual humor and some pretty good sarcastic takes on the body politic.

The GOP think that Rush is their conscience and standard bearing spokesman.

See the difference? Probably not since false equivalence is the favorite flavor of the day for the righties. Science and facts are just opinions to be debated ad infinitum without any logic applied.
Of course I get all my factual reporting from the Daily Show at Comedy Central.

Bill Maher and Michael Moore both hated by the right just point out discrepancies in "their" facts to the masses, the ones the right want to be hidden from the light of day. Verses the mantra of the day put forth by Rush.

Putting it plainly ,

These men are all haters, that feed on everyone that hates.

We all feed them, and they make money telling us why we hate.

These men are your Frankensteins, your creations, and they tell you what you want to hear.

Bill

If you are including the Bill O's and Rush into the mix, not just ones on the left I could see your point somewhat. Both sides have cheerleaders who push anagenda for their own interests . Not in the public's general best interests it seems..

Well I will suggest something to you Bill. Get yourself a container that you can strap to your belly and start at about eight pounds stuffed into it. Wear that for four months gardually increasing the weight until it is about sixteen pounds by the fourth month. Oh yeah, and you will need some device inside this container that with give you a kick every so often, a real good kick.

Then when you are trying to get rid of it take 30 hours doing it.

BTW I really don't care what you are and you can say anything you want to or about me as your opinion is not worth squat.
