Trump announced today that as president he will have DOJ and DOE take over school discipline of students: “When troubled youth are .. going wild, we will stop it. The consequences are swift, certain and strong, and they will know that.”

A Republican in Florida's Legislature has filed a bill that, if enacted, would eliminate the Florida Democratic Party.

“The Ultimate Cancel Act,” filed Tuesday by state Sen. Blaise Ingoglia, would require the state’s Division of Elections to “immediately cancel” the filings of any political party whose platform had “previously advocated for, or been in support of, slavery or involuntary servitude.”

The bill, called SB 1248, would require Florida officials to notify all registered voters who belong to any canceled parties that their parties no longer exist. It would also change their voter registrations to “no party affiliation” and “provide procedures” for those voters to update their affiliations to “an active political party.”

Is Today's Trumpist GOP Fascist?

TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — Florida Sen. Jason Brodeur (R-Lake Mary) wants bloggers who write about Gov. Ron DeSantis, Attorney General Ashley Moody, and other members of the Florida executive cabinet or legislature to register with the state or face fines.

The Brodeur proposal, Senate Bill 1316: Information Dissemination, would require any blogger writing about government officials to register with the Florida Office of Legislative Services or the Commission on Ethics.

Nope, not fascist.

I'm hoping those glaciers will hurry up and fall into the sea. Just eight or ten feet of sea level rise and the late, great state of Floriduh will be smaller than Rhode Island.

You'all still thinking this GOP not a Fascist party?

https://www.msn.com/en-us/tv/news/fl...es/ar-AA189QVe

""A Florida lawmaker has proposed a bill that would require bloggers who write about Governor Ron DeSantis or other elected officials to register with the state or face fines.""

""Under the terms of the bill — read it here — “if a blogger posts to a blog about an elected state officer and receives, or will receive, compensation for that post, the blogger must register with the appropriate office” within “5 days after the first post by the blogger which mentions an elected state officer.”"

Here's a fascinating provision I found in the text of the bill:

Quote:
(f) A blogger may request that the filing of a report be247*
waived upon good cause shown based on reasonable circumstances.248
The request must be filed with the office, which may grant or249
deny the request.
* numbers are line numbers from the original

This means that the state offices can relieve the burden of reporting from anyone who asks, if they wish. Does anyone think this discretion might be readily used to avoid impeding conservative bloggers, while regulations and fines are wielded against critics of the GOP regime?

More than one Trumper in Reno has told me that California is a one party state and I usually tell them, that they were elected by the voters of CA. You should be asking them why.

Now here we are in Florida where a one party state is actually being mandated. Imagine the the hypocrisy.

The Disney repression indicates he isn't fascist, he is an authoritarian demagogue.

I've been following things up in Shasta county, lately. Holy shiese! The Cottonwood Bushwackers aka a militia and their supporters have taken over the county government. They just broke their contract with Dominion based on the urgings of the pillow dude and the Naranja Nitwit. Thus giving Dominion a reason to sue for damages.

Too bad that the Shasta/Redding area is so beautiful but a small vocal minority are chasing off any tourism. Who wants to see a pos rebel flag hanging from the local barbershop/gunstore when you're in town supplying up on a camping trip?

I'd just as soon head on up to the Rogue River and Grant's Pass than deal with these peckerwood secessionists in NorCal. State of Jefferson Davis dipshits...
