I just read that some Hollywood celeb, George Clooney is giving half a million to the kids of Parkland to organize and get their message out.

Meanwhile, that sniveling punk Jack Kingston was calling those Parkland kids "antifa" on CNN.

FL politicians vote down consideration of an assault weapons ban.

SO happy to live in CA, where sensible bans are in place, background checks and waiting periods are required. Background checks for ammo purchases coming here soon. Yay!

The Supremes just shot down a challenge to the 10 day waiting period by letting the 9th Circuit decision stand.

Excellent! I actually led the team that built the CFIS DROS system for CA DOJ back in ‘96-‘97, and ran it for many years. DOJ took it in-house a few years ago. Fun project, learned way more than I cared to know about firearms, and about the many sleazy operators involved in the sale of them.

The articulate high school kids who are speaking out against the NRA are now being attacked by Whell’s “news” sources. Disgusting.

...and yet, as I continue to point out, if God forbid a shooter showed up tomorrow at their school, all of this "media attention", NRA blaming and begging for stricter gun laws will have done not a single thing to make their school safer.

Is that why the Florida Republicans voted against a ban on assault rifles?

Please explain to me exactly how voting either way yesterday would have made Florida schools safer today.
