Just ordered Yankee Foxtrot Hotel. Looking forward to hearing it as a unitary work rather than the several songs I have heard from it. My son cites them as a major influence on his songwriting.

Have you listened to much Uncle Tupelo, from which Wilco, Son Volt and the Bottle Rockets sprung?

I have Uncle Tupelo's No Depression. Good stuff. I also have Son Volt's Okemah and the Melody of Riot. Wilco's new one (The Whole Love) is quite tasty as is an older one, Being There.

Imagine you liking an album called "Being There."

I like all of Uncle Tupelo's stuff and Son Volt's. Good stuff. Enjoy the Carlisle show.

As good as Wilco is, I still think Son Volt provides the better songwriting.

Pink Floyd---Soundtrack from the film "More".

In particular I like "The Nile Song", "Cymbaline", "Main Theme", "Dramatic Theme" and "More Blues".

Played through tubes, this album (cd) just simply comes alive.
Also, the Mullard 6080 finally came in for the Bottlehead Crack.....MARVELOUS, to say the least.....

You're liking that Mullard, I guess.

One of the local Public Radio stations, WFPK 91.9. A weekly show called Relics. Songs from 65 to 75, good deep cuts.
