The biggest problem, the most polarizing influencer, is Faux "News", with its disgusting, insanely biased lineup of Carlson, Hannity, et al. They are truly the worst thing that has happened to national unity. Most of Faux "News'" viewers are Repubes, uneducated and/or Evangelicals, so there's little difference in disgusting views between the subgroups of Faux "News" viewers.

A majority (55%) of Republicans for whom Fox News is their primary news source say there is nothing Trump could do to lose their approval, compared to only 29% of Republicans who do not cite Fox News as their primary news source. Similarly, 45% of Republicans who do not have a college degree say there is virtually nothing Trump could do to lose their support, compared to 35% of college-educated Republicans who say the same.

Virtually all Republican white evangelical Protestants (99%) and Republicans who say Fox News is their primary source of news (98%) oppose Trump being impeached and removed from office.

More Republicans who cite Fox News as their primary source of news agree that society punishes men just of being men (68%) and that society has become too feminine (73%).

More than three-quarters of Republicans who rely on Fox News as their primary news source agree that whites face discrimination similar to black racism (77%) and that immigrants are invading the country (78%), compared to smaller majorities of Republicans who do not say Fox News is their primary news source (63% and 52%). Republicans who are white evangelical Protestants (75%) are more likely than all Republicans to say that immigrants are invading American society.

As with most of those who will support Trump as a candidate in the 2020 election (95%), most Fox News Republicans (96%) and white evangelical Republicans (93%) also strongly favor or favor restrictive immigration policies. Republicans who do not rely on Fox News as their primary news source (84%) and Republicans who are not white evangelical Protestants (86%) are slightly less extreme in their views.

New reporting by The New York Times revealed that Ukraine was aware that Trump was withholding military aid, a key detail in the impeachment inquiry into whether Trump engaged in a quid pro quo to pressure Ukraine to investigate his political rival. Trump’s strongest defenders have insisted that it is impossible to have a quid pro quo if Ukraine was unaware that military aid was being withheld; while many on Fox insisted that Ukraine never was told of such a freeze, reporting in the New York Times now confirms that it was.
