I stuck my head out the backdoor and watched Seaworld's fireworks, but I can see those on most any night. It drizzled here and was a bit chilly, thus I didn't make it to a beach party. Strange weather. How was your 4th?

Not too shabby. We all went down to the bluffs overlooking the Newport Dunes and caught their fireworks after barbequeing some ribs and chicken. Not a bad show at all. I read some headline that San Diego's all went off at once!

Glad to see the folks here had a good Fourth. As you can see, I listened to a boatload of music. I fixed a shrimp dinner for my wife before she had to go to work, but spent the vast majority of the time in my nice, cool, mancave.

That was the San Diego Bay show. Evidently a software glitch. BBQ ribs and chicken sure sounds good. I'm about to devour a cheese filled crumb cake.
