It tickled me to see at least one that said both sides act worse than kids. I must quote her for truth.

Well kids will be kids but this YoYo should have known better.

Tea Party Congressman Wins An Award For The Stupidest Thing Said About The Debt Ceiling

“I think we need to have that moment where we realize [we’re] going broke,” Yoho said. If the debt ceiling isn’t raised, that will sure as heck be a moment. “I think, personally, it would bring stability to the world markets,” since they would be assured that the United States had moved decisively to curb its debt."

I'm not sure what's worse, him believing this shit or his willingness to express it in public.

There's the big lie being bandied about by the corporate media. Boehner keeps spewing the lie that he just wants a sit down and Obama won't deal. Nothing could be further from the truth of it. The Democrats have acquiesced to the Ryan budget that R&R lost on! How is that not compromising?
Both parties ARE at fault.

Nope.
I could believe that if this was 2 way street but it is not. The Dems have not asked for anything nor have the Goppers offered them anything in exchange for what they want. Boehner won't even allow a clean up or down vote so I have to call bullshit on that.

That guy is also a 9/11 'truther,' apparently. He tried not to express that in public, but he sort of did....

So the Donks are not asking for anything other than to expect to have things 100% their way?

Uh, no. They've long since acquiesced to the GOP's budget number at the sequester level. Them not budging on Obamacare has more to do with no appeasing extortionists.

GOP Rep. Peter King: ‘Ted Cruz should be blamed’ if government shuts down

“Ted Cruz should be blamed,” King said. “And anybody that follows him.” He said this day before the shut down.
