Thank you for that unsolicited outpouring of whataboutism.

Leave it to you to misread plain English. You don't like how it's written? Take it up with CNN.

Who do young Republicans want to win in 2024? Spoiler alert: It's not necessarily Donald Trump.

From an 18 year old:

Quote:
The founder and former chairman of the High School Republican National Federation, Atkins, 18, said he thinks Trump on the ballot next November will hurt the party’s overall chances.

“If he is the nominee, we'll probably lose the House of Representatives. We won't win as many seats in the Senate as we hope. And we're not even going to end up winning the White House,” he said. “So really, if we want to win in 2024 and if we want to make a change, we need to nominate somebody who appeals to the broader American public.”
With a comment like that, Trump will call this youngster a RINO.

Guess the young Republicans are not looking for a free trip to MAGA Land anytime soon.

Eureka: We now have a write-in candidate for the Repugnants, none other than Ronnie DeFascist.

After reading that story I'm struck by nary a mention of what's good for the country and it's citizens. Winning seems to be the only goal for these youngsters like most Repugnants.

Meanwhile:

Republicans are grappling with their weaknesses with Generation Z, as the voting bloc continues to flex its strength ahead of 2024.

Generation Z voters overwhelmingly align with Democrats on issues like gun control, abortion, climate change, and LGBTQ issues, posing a challenge for the GOP as it looks to appeal to the younger demographic.

Seventy-seven percent of Generation Z voters said they voted for a Democratic candidate for Congress, compared to only 21 percent who said they voted for a Republican, according to a Pew Research study released late last year.

The problem for the GOP is they got no one. The Repub voters are behind tRump because of his, for lack of a better word, personality. No one else has captured that MAGA magic thought lord knows they've tried. Were tRump not the candidate for whatever reason all the voters who voted against him last time would probably just stay home. The silver lining to that cloud is the deploreables in even bigger droves would sit this one out too.

So far as more and more indictments were handed out, his popularity has been going up along with his coffers continuing to fill up. Let's hope this trend continues through 2024, since rRump will have a very hard time siting in a chair at the defendant's table keeping his mouth shut.

Are there really any independents who's vote might go either way? I don't think so. Considering what has become of the Republican party, I don't understand how anybody with half a brain could vote for any member of the anti-democracy party of goddamn sedition. Is there really a bunch of thoughtful independents in the middle who have to decide between which party's candidate they're gonna vote for in every election? How does any thoughtful person vote for any Republican?

If you're an idiot single issue voter, disgusted by gay marriage, dismayed by gender reassignment surgery, horrified by abortion, or you're a self-indulgent 1%er who isn't rich enough and wants another tax cut...and you won't vote for a Democrat, fine, don't vote for a Democrat. But don't you fucking dare vote for a racist, bigoted, fascist, asshole seditionist Republican.

Write in Pat Paulsen for christ's sake, or just stay the fuck home.

OK...OK...OK...anybody who stays home is increasing the chances that some fascist asshole will end up in office. But jesus christ on a pogo stick...who but a goddamn self-indulgent religious fanatic or despicable sociopath would vote for a Republican for public office.

Who would vote for Trump? Normal humans of certain sorts under certain conditions. When this many millions are in the category, they are normal, by definition. We do not have 74 million sociopathic monsters running around.
