It's highly likely that there are a number of rounds that missed Brown and it's very plausible that one or more rounds were fired at his back and missed him.

the police fired their weapons 47 times at Hall, striking him 11 times and killing him.

In both these cases the police hit their target less than 50% of the time.

I have seen no official information regarding the total number of rounds that Officer Wilson fired.

It appears that there's a rift in the Brown family's team. The forensic pathologist that was hired by the family has reported that all wounds entered from the front side of his body. So it appears he was not shot while attempting to flee.

The family's attorney pretty much immediately challenged his own pathologist's report claiming the the autopsy indicated a "back-to-front direction" even though the preliminary report stated just the opposite.

What I've read is that this report stated that there were six wounds and the first 5 were likely to be "survivable".

From what I've read, the witness Dorian Johnson, reported that Michael Brown was shot in the back. That would be utterly contrary to the preliminary autopsy report provided by the family's hired pathologist. I know this is speculation as well, but it seems to me it would put the rest of Johnson's reportage in question as well. On his knees with his hands up? Maybe...maybe not.

I know you would like to keep it to just Johnson, because you feel that you can discredit him as a thug, but much to your chagrin I suspect there are four more, so far.

And the autopsy leaves open the possibility that Officer Wilson shot at Brown from behind and missed as I explained in my post #1103 above.

The cops know precisely how many shots were fired, you subtract unfired rounds from the evidenced weapon...

What it is, is what it is: nothing in the back and fired upon until not a threat.
