Just happy that I never gave up my Canadian citizenship.

Imagine having Ted Cruz as your best friend.
You will need to move to CO then.

Imagine having Justin Bieber as your best friend.
You will need to move to Waah, then.
Fixed that for you.

They have been able to do that because there is a market.

When the government stopped fair competition over state lines between insurance companies, insurance went up. Hospitals, doctors and medical supplies followed the rise.

All your pointing out is a reaction to an action.

The government created the reaction with their actions.

As they are doing again but you all believe it's good until you see the reaction again. lol

And once again it will come out of the sweat of americans and further damage to the economy.

For all its faults (and expense) a cursory examination of Nobel prizewinning Doctors shows our medical systems' prowress.

Our "medical systems prowess", from a technical standpoint, perhaps.

The way we've been funding it is an epic fail, however.

No, it doesn't. It shows the quality of our medical schools and our penchant for innovation. It shows nothing about our ability to deliver world class health care in an efficient manner. In fact, it highlights the disconnect between the quality of our doctors and the deficiencies of our health care delivery system (i.e., how is it that the world's best doctors are only able to deliver the 16th best medical outcomes?) Don't conflate good doctors with an efficient health care delivery system.

On my flight to Israel in November, I sat with an MD/PhD in neuroscience from the University of Haifa in Israel who has lived in LA and worked at the UCLA medical center for the past seven years. He was very impressed with American medical technology and innovation, but aghast at our health care system.

Definitely agree with the funding being absurd. And now the next push to hysterical with ACA. Even the name is an oxymoron when something is unsustainable.
